SECTION1 TITLE 1.0 REQUEST FOR COMPENSATION AND DAMAGES LEDGER

WALLS OF SILENCE

SECTION1 TITLE 1.0 REQUEST FOR COMPENSATION AND DAMAGES LEDGER

I am formally requesting reimbursement and compensation for the significant damages, losses, and hardships I have endured. The following claims are detailed below:

Subpart 1. Cost Of Impenetrable Shipping/Storage Containers For Move-Out On November 31, 2024, At Rental Lease End

Due to the persistent infestation, it is necessary to take extraordinary precautions during my move. The pests have proven resistant even to contractor bags, thriving in warmer, darker, and enclosed spaces. To prevent transporting this infestation to a new residence, I must use non-porous and impenetrable shipping/storage containers for any items I bring with me. This is an unforeseen and essential expense that goes beyond the expectations of any renter.

Total Amount Requested: $118.00

Subpart 2. Cost of Movers

Total Amount Requested:  [To Be Determined]

Subpart 3. Complete Return of Damage Deposit

Given the ongoing breach of the implied covenant of habitability, it is inappropriate for the property to retain my damage deposit. I am requesting a full return.

Total Amount Requested:  $700.00

Subpart 4. Rent Reimbursement Due to Infestation

I request reimbursement for rent covering the period from the reported onset of the infestation in February 2024 to the present. Notably, I am not requesting reimbursement for December or January. Duration:  February—November 2024

Total Amount Requested:  $7,000.00

Subpart 5. Reimbursement for Pest Self-Extermination Efforts and Air Quality Control Due to Animal Neglect

Part I. Self-Extermination: Given the failure to provide timely professional extermination services, I incurred costs for self-extermination from February until the first professional extermination on August 28, 2024. Total Amount Requested:  $349.65

Part II. Air Quality Control:  To manage air quality amidst persistent neglect, I relied on various measures, including electronic plug-in devices, from December to November. While I also used incense and aromatherapy, I am only seeking reimbursement for the cost of the electronic devices, which were a necessary response to the substandard conditions that ultimately required intervention from Animal Control.  Total Amount Requested:  $180.00

No. 5 Grand Total: $529.65

Subpart 6. Compensation for Immovable "Totaled" Property

Total Amount Requested: $ 10,290.72

Subpart 7. Waiver of Cleanup/Removal Fees

I am requesting a complete waiver of all cleanup and removal fees for the infested items I must leave behind. Due to the property's ongoing failure to address the infestation for eight months, it would be unjust to expect me to transport infested belongings to my new home. I do not own pets, and the infestation did not originate from my unit. As such, the property management bears responsibility for the situation. I will only be taking items that can be sealed entirely in non-porous, plastic storage bins, as standard cardboard boxes are now contaminated with various pests, including roaches and fleas. Should the property choose to continue extermination, they may eventually recover viable items or retain them for their use. However, it is unjust to compel me to carry these burdens forward. Therefore, I am not requesting reimbursement for all itemsonly for those that must be replaced after moving. I am prepared to accept the loss of other items but will not assume any charges for their removal or cleanup.

Total Amount Requested: $0.00 (Complete Waiver—DO NOT CHARGE TENANT)

Grand Total (Excluding Punitive Damages):  $18,638.37.

Subpart 8. Emotional Distress and Punitive Damages

I assert my right to vacate this property without incurring any further damages or costs stemming from conditions beyond my control.  Over the past 12 months, I have endured profound hardship, including but not limited to: physical and emotional suffering, illness, assault and battery, isolation, humiliation, sexual harassment, property theft and destruction, identity theft, mail theft, defamation, intimidation, and stalking. These injustices transpired in an environment rendered uninhabitable and hostile due to systemic gender-based discrimination. It would be inequitable to permit the systemic failures of this property to cause additional harm. I cannot and will not shoulder the weight of these injustices into my future. The property must assume full accountability for the consequences of its actions and the conditions it perpetuated. I am seeking fair compensation to ensure I can leave this situation whole, free from any additional financial burdens arising from damages and fees that are not my responsibility.

Subpart 9. Plastic Parcels Need To Move

Subpart 10

Notice For Potential Movers

Note: Items to move include 19 containers, one larger container with dishes, a PC, a 5-gallon paint can, and potentially a few contractor bags for blankets fresh from the dryer. Replaceable items like a $180 duvet comforter can be left if needed. However, irreplaceable items must be prioritized: a family heirloom quilt passed down from my Great Great Grandmother, who is 100 years old, and two large handmade quilts from Mexico. These may require either contractor bags or two additional bins.

Subpart 11

TREATING BUG INFESTATION AND ANIMAL WASTE INSIDE THE APARTMENT

Subpart 12

FROM THE BEDROOM: BED, MATTRESS TOPPER, WATER PILLOW, TV (AND MOUNT), DRESSER, MIRROR.

32 inch television mounted in the bedroom is functioning completely as it should.

This was such a special item. I paid the damage deposit on the unit & moved it into the unit 2 weeks prior to moving in myself. The chair bottoms are open the original cardboard instructions with circles opening straight to the batting - totaled 😭

Subpart 16

FROM OFFICE: OFFICE DESK, COMPUTER, FAX, PRINTER, DRESSER

I did my best with finding a replacement, ultimately settling on option #2 —the least expensive of exact processor speed and memory. I included my process to demonstrate i did put responsible time and effort to be reasonable and not overcharge on anything.

The Rules: I cannot leave my current PC behind due to the sensitive personal data stored on it, it must be moved in a sealed container and properly recycled professionally. However, there is an issue with pests entering through the rear speaker holes, and adult pests continue to appear in the area. To prevent any future infestation, the PC needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, Bang & Olufsen no longer manufactures this model, and the only listings on trusted sites like Amazon are refurbished, which carry the risk of unknown issues. After careful consideration, I found the most affordable replacement that meets my needs. I’ve also provided my system profile as proof of purchase.

Subpart 17

ESSENTIAL SMALL APPLIANCES

Subpart 18

ALL THREE DRESSERS

Roaches have continuously bred inside the dressers despite all my DIY extermination and the professional extermination which began in August 2024 and still has not stopped as of November. I stopped using the dressers for clothing in September because they ran for cover in the dressers once professional extermination began so the situation actually got worse for these. They're obviously worth much more than $50.00. I'm willing to take the loss so long as I can be reimbursed to purchase sufficient replacements in my new home.

Subpart 19

THE INFAMOUS STOLEN GRILL

First retaliatory act for not responding to unsolicited, non-consensual, inappropriate, romantic text messages and refusal to communicate or have any contact with property manager "Rick Newmann" this is another effort to "force" contact when inappropriate, romantic, text massages we're being ignored. These messages of course followed the sexual advance in the rental office that caused me to cut all communication outside of official business when Anthony Anderson or property Owner Don Klyberg cannot be reached first. These were a coercion as was the theft of the grill and the months that followed where Newmann felt it necessary to park his truck across from my bedroom with the grill on the hood of his car to coerce contact “for months” Then turn violent when that didn’t work, making a show of destroying the grill with “crude humiliating jokes about me” and “threats” for an audience “for weeks” then moving the harassment to my mailbox when he was required to move his truck from the view of my bedroom window “for months”, then ‘evicting’ me for “false allegations” the same day I said stop in writing, and we last left off with Newmann coming upstairs to harass at the door in October. There’s nowhere to go from here but heaven, hell and or prison. So, I’m prayerful to go away instead; the same way I’ve stayed away while here. My grill  was $69.00 but I’m accepting sale price.

SECTION 6 TITLE 6.5 SEVERE ROACH INFESTATION TIMELINE [EXHIBITS]

WALLS OF SILENCE SECTION 6 TITLE 6.5 SEVERE ROACH INFESTATION TIMELINE   When I moved into Building Ten on December 1, 2023, I had no idea what was in store for me. Those first two months—December and January—were completely roach-free. I settled into the unit, hopeful and ready to make a maximum 12 month go of it. Then came February. That’s when everything changed, January 30, 2023 is when apartment manager Rick Newmann’s guest (girlfriend) physically assaulted me; she left the property very shortly after. Rick Newmann began a “cleanup” in his apartment and rental office following Sarah’s departure. Within days of his so-called cleanup hauling contractor bags of trash from his unit to the dumpster and the garage to unit, to trash—touching items he said belong to their former tenant of the unit I was renting who he said filthy months before, roaches began to emerge in my unit, scuttling up from Rick Newmann’s downstairs unit like unwelcome guests I hadn’t invited. Subpar...

SMOKING GUN TITLE 1.0 WHO IS DON KLYBERG

WALLS OF SILENCE SMOKING GUN TITLE 1.0 WHO IS DON KLYBERG DECEMBER 5, 2024   The Revelation of The Property Owner  (processing)   Today I realized why the gentleman at City Hall loudly asked,   “ Do you know who owns it? ” and then stated the owner ’ s name before the degrading and dishonest woman at the counter scolded him with, “ Hush, I just wanted to see if she knew herself! ” At the time, I didn ’ t understand the significance, but something told me to look up the owner this morning. When I did, I was shocked to discover that Don Klyberg, the named owner, has history of likewise properties at six additional locations — all in North Minneapolis, a predominantly Black neighborhood often stereotyped in local media as low-income and troubled; similar to officer Carter Cook's description of this property in the Animal control call(s) of August 20, 2024. He's a registered slumlord. Subpart 1. Newmann’s House of Horrors A Failure In Prevention This...
